Objectives:

1. Participants will identify emerging technologies such as robotics, AI, AR/VR, and advanced imaging are transforming surgical practices.

2. Participants will discuss the benefits and challenges of integrating these technologies in terms of patient outcomes, workflow efficiency, and safety.

3. Participants will identify opportunities to apply these technologies in the OR and discuss how they might affect the roles of various team members, including scrub techs, nurses, and surgeons.

4. Examine challenges such as cost, training, infrastructure needs, and ethical issues related to the adoption of emerging technologies.
